I recently returned to Iris Hotel with my family for a brief stopover, as we’ve enjoyed our visits here in the past. The hotel's location, on the edge of town, makes it a convenient base for exploring the delightful surroundings. It’s a peaceful spot, which children appreciate, especially with the small outdoor area where my kids played while we unwound. During this stay, I noticed a few areas needing attention. The rooms seemed to have been left a little neglected over the years, with no recent updates, and cleaning could have been more thorough upon our arrival. The breakfast spread was lovely, with fresh tomatoes and cucumbers that my children devoured. The staff remains friendly and very accommodating, which creates a welcoming atmosphere for families. Our dinner at the neighboring restaurant was enjoyable as the hotel’s restaurant was closed on Sunday. While there are some aspects that could use improvement, Iris Hotel continues to be a comfortable stop for families like ours.
